Pure Heart Cockers
Our Dogs

Our cocker spaniel dames and sires are purebred AKC Cocker Spaniels. Currently we have 3 dames: Annabelle, Lemon, & Magnolia. Although their typically moms of cockapoos, we do occasionally breed cocker spaniel litters.

Enter Lady Annabelle Primrose Hamilton of the Second Creek, who we adopted in September of 2012. Lady Annabelle had her first litter with Sir Jack (our poodle) in January 2016.

Lady Annabelle is a sweet teddy bear of a dog. She is thick, strong, and mischievious, but she is also beautiful, loving, and extremely snuggable. With her nurturing personality, she makes a wonderful, protective mama.

In the spring of 2016, we adopted sisters Lady Lemon Gingerbelle Hamilton of the Risen Sun and Lady Magnolia Blossombelle Hamilton of the Ashen Timbers. We expect they will be ready to have puppies sometime in late 2017.

Lady Lemon has a "alpha big sister" personality. Feisty, a little bossy, and more than a little entitled, she thinks she is the Queen of the farm, and lets every animal in the house know it. She knows what she wants and goes for it, but at the end of the day after all the play is done, she likes to find a spot in your lap and curl up for rest. She is lean, lithe, and fast physically, and she has the most beautiful eyelashes of any of our dogs. We are waiting to see how she settles in as she outgrows the puppy stage.

Her sister, Lady Magnolia, is the exact opposite. Quiet and slow-moving, she can get picked on by her more sassy sister. However, she finds a way to make her presence felt. She loves to be held, with a sweet, sweet loving temperament. She is playful, but she likes to wait until her family members are at peace and quiet before she makes her approach. She has the most interesting facial expressions, and when her hair grows out, she has the cutest mop of fur on top of her head which could cover her amazing eyes if you let it.
